LANDSCAPE is this week’s WordPress Photo Challenge theme. Since I’m a landscape photographer, though I also do other kinds of pictures, this leaves me in the awkward position of trying to pick a few favorites out of thousands of favorites.
So I’m going to pick one from each of my favorite photo venues.
From the Arizona desert:
From the mountains of Maine:
From Vermont in autumn:
Along the Blackstone River:
Sunrise and moon-set from my bedroom window:
An urban landscape, Brookline (Boston):
The Blackstone Canal:
And our town by night near Christmas:

You have something different. You know how to tweak colors really well. Love it. The tone of the photos is just perfect.

Thank you. I have worked at it. Sometimes the magic works. Sometimes, my dogs look sort of green 🙂

The clouds in the first picture almost looks like puffs of smoke from a volcano. Neat pictures.

They did look like that smoke. It was an interesting configuration of clouds. Something about desert and mountains cause all kind of interesting cloud patterns.

I am waiting for the transporter to be perfected. Unless it’s close enough to get there with our own wheels 🙂

When you take a lot of landscapes, a challenge like this … well … it’s like designating your favorite child when you have a LOT of kids 🙂

Maine is gorgeous. Maine and Vermont — and big pieces of New Hampshire, too — are breathtaking.

All are wonderful but Vermont is in a league of its own.
