CEE’S BLACK & WHITE PHOTO CHALLENGE: STEPS: INDOORS OR OUTDOORS
So many steps we climb in life. These days, it takes me a long time to go up and even longer to go down . They are my daily mountains to climb.
The steps from the deck to the yard below are unusually steep. They are, of course, not usable in the winter when they are covered in snow and ice, but are the shortest route to the kitchen during the rest of the year. I will go up them, but they make me dizzy looking down … so these steps are, for me, one way only.
Inside, the dogs love the steps because as we come up, they look down on us. For some reason, that always makes them very happy.

So many steps…, so few feet… 🙂

Just two, but sometimes, that’s almost enough!

Amusing to think that the dogs feel they have one up on you when they are at the top of the stairs.

Marilyn, you have some great steps for this week. I adore the old brownstones….(new or old). 😀

“..they look down on us.” That made me smile. I thought that was a cat thing! I do love that photo of looking down the street at Beacon Hill. Very pretty.

I think “king of the mountain” is a game all animals play. Garry and I once watched a bunch of sea lions play it on a raft off the pief in San Francisco. It’s a game they all love. Our dogs get incredibly excited when we come up the stairs. You can see the grins 🙂
