What I’d like to know is: Why can people like you and Garry take a photo of a snowy town street and it becomes exciting, but when I do it, the photo simply looks like a boring snowy town street? Don’t answer that question – I know how talented you both are, and I love seeing your photography.

I will give you the one thing that did it for me: ANGLES. Look for an angle. Don’t take pictures straight on in the middle unless you are doing a tight closeup. Try it. It sounds like nothing much, but it’s actually kind of huge. I found it by looking at other peoples’ pictures and figuring out what it was THEY did that I wasn’t doing 🙂

it sure is! Especially in little towns — like yours and ours. A bit of snow and it’s just lovely. But next week, it’s going to be just like spring. I’m seriously hoping it will be the beginning of the end. Got my fingers crossed!
