Thank you and thank you and thank you again 🙂 I didn’t want a new template, so I decided to see what I could do with colors. Didn’t want white on black for text, but the gray seemed to be pretty easy on the eyes, and Garry said it didn’t bother him. He’s my test case.
I’m really glad you like it. Every time I do something different, I wonder who’s going to be the first to complain 😀

I used two different cameras, actually … my Olympus for some and my big super zoom Panasonic Lumix 300 for the long shots. They are both really good cameras, though over all, the Olympus probably has a much better degree of sharpness and certainly the best color. But I use both cameras a lot.

A good shot of the red finches. A bird I have never seen in my neck of the woods.

They are not native here, either. They were caged and sold in pet stores. It was illegal so when the authorities started closing pet stores, they let the finches go. So now these little birds are everywhere, but they are recent arrivals. They seem to be doing very well. They are cute little birds. Hard to get pictures of them. I see them often right in front of my window because they nest under my air conditioner, but I can only shoot them through the window, so it’s hard to get a good shot.
