JUST ANOTHER COUPLE OF THINGS – Garry Armstrong

A Photo a Week Challenge: One of these things…

Photo: Garry Armstrong – Two posts, two mailboxes. Well, it’s almost a matched set.

Marilyn couldn’t find a mismatched set, unless you count she and I or the dogs. This was as close as we could get. Two posts — no boxes. And two very mismatched mailboxes.

Author: Garry Armstrong

As a reporter for Channel 7 in Boston for 31 years, I was witness to most of the major events affecting the region. I met a lot of people ... politicians, actors, moguls, criminals and many regular folks caught up in extraordinary situations. Sometimes, I write about the people I've met and places I've been. Sometimes, I write about life, my family, my dogs and me. Or what might otherwise be called Life.

    1. I’ve always appreciated the rural mismatching. It’s part of living in the country. Nothing really matches, not in older homes. Maybe in the new ones in the “divisions.” But around here? You use whatever works.

          1. That’s what makes them so unique and special. They are a representation of reality, blurred. Incredible, I so love these! You do a beautiful job. Never losing the reality, but adding that something more that is so beautiful!

    1. We sort of are — and we sort of aren’t 🙂 This is a busy morning. Off (finally) to doctor, so out for a few hours. I’m coughing. Garry is still in the sore throat stage. I think the coughing is less painful. It’s going to be ONE OF THOSE DAYS!
