Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Places People Visit
We honeymooned in Ireland. That was definitely special!
Then, we went to California. Remarkably, I don’t have any pictures. I think that was one of the times I was between cameras. When I first got back from Israel, I didn’t get a decent camera for a bunch of years. The one I took to Ireland was a cheapie and I really wish I’d spent money on something better.
We went to Arizona — twice and Vermont, also twice.
We also went to Florida a couple of times and Disney World twice.
And Maine — maybe half a dozen times? And the Cape, of course. And Ogunquit.
Sunrise in Rockport and Ogunquit …
And most of the time, we’ve just stayed home and enjoyed the scenery!

Oh Marilyn, your photos for this week are absolutely amazing. 😀 I like your mountain group the best, I think. It’s hard to choose 😀

We’ve visited a lot of the U.S., but there is so much more. This is — was — a magnificent country. I just hope it stays that way!

I think this is an amazing and beautiful country with so many different types of land — and two oceans and rivers and lakes and prairies. I would just like it to remain so!

The Hyannis cafe almost looks like Paris to me. It’s a lovely collection of photos.

You do live in a lovely place. You don’t miss travel so much if you love where you live.

These days, absolutely. Traveling wasn’t always as difficult when we were younger — and the world was younger.

No nostalgia for those holiday road trips.

I miss the places we went, but not the endless drives and 14-hour traffic jams!

The scenery at home (or nearby) is often best — after all, that’s part of why we choose to live there!

We had no idea how beautiful this region was until after we lived here. We knew it was going to be rural and a lot prettier than Boston, but as we have lived here, sometimes it catches our breath, how beautiful this area is.

It’s a Currier and Ives locale.
