Week # 6: Walk By The Canal
FOTD – October 30, 2018
It should have been spectacular color, but it was mostly still green with some yellow. Still, it was definitely pretty, especially when the amber light hits it in late afternoon.
Still, it was a crisp fall day. If the leaves were not scarlet, they were yellow, glowing in the amber sunlight, with the canal as shiny as a mirror.

One of our rare, sunny days. Today is another and I think we need to get outside and take a few pictures. It actually LOOKS like fall!

I think we are suppose to get a nice day here too. I have a peony I want to transplant so just might get a chance to do it.

Did it. Not bad. It needed little “hobby” painting brushes. Unfortunately, no paint thinner, so I’ll have to get those smudges later. Also might need another coat, but I don’t think so. As long as it doesn’t rain today. It’s not supposed to but the sun went away again.

We may be disappointed in the color but we can still see the beauty.
I see it here.

Today, it’s really beautiful. I think this is probably the end of it because the rain and wind is back tomorrow, so we should get outside today.

Today (Wednesday) Halloween isn’t too bad. Milder than yesterday with a nice taste of sunshine.
It’ll be chilly for the trick or treaters tonight.

Today, it actually looks like fall. The rain finally stopped (supposed to start again tomorrow) so if we make it outside …

I love the first rainfall of winter. It heralds the coming of a new season.
