CHRYSANTHEMUMS – Marilyn Armstrong

FOTD – November 15, 2018 – Mums

It is normally the time of year for mums, except they are predicting 4 inches of snow today. So let us think fondly of mums … but find your warm boots, a hat, and maybe a pair of gloves.

Try to remain cheerful even though it’s still a week until Thanksgiving. I don’t like when winter starts this early.

    1. I love the way they look, but they don’t really do well here. Too cold — and they are annuals, so you have to have the energy to keep replacing them. I admire them, but I don’t grow them. I didn’t grow these either. They are straight from the flower shop 🙂

  1. Beautiful flowers! I didn’t realize that mum was short for chrysanthemum. My mother is named after chrysanthemum in Vietnamese. Learning something new everyday…
