The Blue Jay sat still long enough for me to focus. Yay! Usually, they are gone before I get the lens in that direction.

They apparently ARE common, but they aren’t feeder birds, so they don’t drop by, at least not for whatever I’m offering.

Until I found that bird, i wasn’t sure we even HAD Blue Jays up here. They are not very woodsy.

We had many more of them in New York. I think they are more open field than woodland birds. They are pretty. Very blue!
