This is my 1200th post, appropriate because it’s also one of the first pictures I took after I decided I deserved a good camera.
That’s a lot of posts. A lot of pictures, a great many words and a full year of never missing a single day of posting. Wow. I didn’t think I could do it. But I did.

I know this but there is something about the upward flight and grace that remind me about much of your work. It was meant as a compliment and the thought was immediate !

Ah. Good because I was wondering which of my pictures of me hinted at tall, gracefulness and was getting confused. Mind you, I really WANT to be tall and graceful. I have always wanted to be tall, even clumsy, but DNA won and I am short and mostly squattish. My photos sometimes soar … and I like to think I’m improving with practice, that I can improve if I want to. Thank you kindly, good lady 🙂

We have quite a few of them around here, but rarely to I have a camera ready to shoot — AND with the right lens! That was a small miracle 🙂
