WORLD SHARING WEEK 47 – NEARING YEAR’S END!

SHARE YOUR WORLD – 2015 WEEK #47

In your native language which letter or character describes you best? Why?

I don’t know. I never thought about it. M because it’s my initial? Because while my last name has changed three times, “M” has followed me for my entire life, except for the years in Israel when it transformed into a “mem.”

What is your greatest extravagance?

Cameras. Lenses. Software for processing pictures. Camera bags. Photographic accessories of every kind.

Otherwise? Crystallized ginger. Can’t live without it!

Do you prefer exercising your mind or your body? How frequently do you do either?

My physical prowess up and fled long years since, so I practice mental gymnastics. I’m good at mental back flips. Actually, I’m ready for the marathon, as long as I can do it on the computer!

List at least 5 things that makes you laugh.

The dawgz.

Witty dialogue, live or on television or movies. Sometimes, weird things pop into my head … and make me laugh at my own strangeness.

I won’t bore you with details, especially since these days, I can’t remember details.

  3. Witty answers indeed. “M” for the mesmerizing place you live in. Sounds repetitive? Ok. How’s that? “M” for messy screen of your computers ! Chuckle 🙂 You only mentioned it, remember ?

  4. I am reminded of the episode of The Mary Tyler Moore Show, where the fire alarm went off in Mary’s apartment complex and she had time to grab only one thing before she fled her unit….. The giant “M” she had on hanging her wall.

    • I do not have a giant “M” but perhaps that is what my life lacks. I never actually thought about letters as symbols. I had to make it up as I went along. So, are you and “E” for Evil or “S” for Squirrel … or B for BB?

      • This is an interesting one. I guess I would pick “K” for myself. It doesn’t really describe me but it’s part of my nick name — “Ka-Ching”. That nick name has many back stories and still provides lots of laughs.
I still do my informal set of physical exercises EVERY day, regardless of how I feel. Mental exercise? That’s another matter.
Laughter? The dogs are an easy one. Marilyn and I share laughter about silly things and ourselves. I think Marilyn’s ability to make me laugh at myself is terrific and often therapeutic.
We laugh at the ship of political fools currently sailing among the sharks. But they really aren’t funny.

      • Good question, and like most people, I never gave it any thought. I’d go for B, even though two of my three initials are actually W’s. It would be easy for my Dad, though, who is a BBB…
