UPDATE: SORRY, BUSY, BUSY, BUSY!

I have a lot of stuff to do right now. Doctor stuff, computer stuff, promises to keep, books to read because I owe reviews to publishers.  There’s not nearly enough time in my day to do it all and I have fallen way behind on most of the stuff I usually do for Serendipity. Lucky for me it’s October and there are lots of pictures to post, otherwise, there wouldn’t be much here, either.

I’m going to have to delete a pile of notifications. I’ll never get to them. Please accept my apologies. The “JUST two hands and one head … ” rule applies. If I add one more thing to my “to do” list, I’ll disintegrate into a mass of ones and zeroes and be permanently sucked into some virtual reality.

At least I’m still managing to write a bit. It’s going to be a while, but I’ll be back as soon as I can dig myself out of this hole I’m in.

  1. Sometimes it does get a bit overwhelming. OK, maybe once or twice a week it does. My plan for the balance of this week is to do some serious commenting. I might be able to visit two or three posts! 😦

  3. I will be on vacation next week, but think I can keep up with comments OK. Any of my posts from more than two Sundays out, can easily be moved around. I’ll be back to plug the gaps after a week. We’re leaving Sat, back next Friday.

  4. As I recall October is usually a busy month for you isn’t it? See you when you get back.

    • This is a bit worse than last year … and it’s about to get worse. So, it’s time to stop juggling and do some stuff — before the next wave hits. I’ve been procrastinating with the classic “I’ve got PLENTY of time” excuse, but I suddenly looked at the calendar and realized — no, I don’t have plenty of time. It’s all stuff I volunteered for, mind you. I want to do it. I just didn’t realize I’d have to do it all at the same time 🙂

  6. That happened to me once and I got so overwhelmed, I cancelled receiving emails for blog posts and then went crazy trying to recoup. But the 600 emails were gone forever. Take your time. The internet isn’t going anywhere soon. Bye for now Marilyn

    • I get hundreds of emails every day. I can usually work my way through most of them while the TV is on and I do other stuff. But I’m out of time and there are things I can’t do as part of multi-tasking — like reading. And writing. If I start NOW, I might just meet my deadlines. Maybe. If i don’t fool around or let myself get distracted 🙂

  7. Look forward to your return with enthusiasm. Hopefully the situtation isn’t too stressful. We’re with you in thought, if not deed. Take care Marilyn.
