A Photo a Week Challenge: Halloween
Nobody comes trick-or-treating on this street. No sidewalks. No street light. Tall, dark trees and houses are far apart. Kids look at the long, dark road … then they go into town where homes are close to the street and the lights are on.
I gave up decorating for the holiday years ago, but Garry likes to make sure we have a little something to remind us … the Halloween bouquet.

So lovely. Our only decoration was our pumpkin, which my husband finally carved about one hour before the first trick-or-treaters arrived. 🙂 Thanks for joining the challenge!

I used to be a great pumpkin carver … but after the kids moved out, it seemed like a lot more work than I wanted to do for me alone. I still admire the art, though. I like looking at everyone else’s work 🙂

We’re the same here, MrsA… dark, no sidewalks, etc. I do have a gate decoration, and a lovely set of black and orange flamingos striding on the side, which are quite festive… at least to me.
