Based on Donald Trump’s public behavior, some of America and the world’s leading psychologists, psychiatrists and other clinicians have concluded that the president of the United States is mentally unwell. Trump appears, in their opinion, to suffer from malignant narcissism. He is also a compulsive liar who lacks empathy for his fellow human beings and shows no remorse for his bad behavior. Most importantly, Trump’s personality defects amplify his authoritarian values, beliefs and behavior. The results …

Narcissism? Really? You don’t need a degree in psychology to work that one out.

I think most sane people doped that one out before the election. But you know, he used to speak in full sentences. He was an ass, but he wasn’t stupid. Now he IS stupid and apparently getting dumber. So we’ve got the narcissism added to his megalomania AND the stupidity. OY VAY.

I don’t think you have to be a psychologist, psychiatrist, or other clinician to recognize that Trump is mentally unwell. But you do have to be a Republican to ignore it.

How could anyone MISS it? He is clearly mentally ill and getting worse. But hey, why should be we upset that we have a mental case with nuclear codes?

This is scary stuff and yes I think he will be very hard to get out of the White House unless he goes in a box.

He’s such an unhealthy eater. Maybe MacDonald’s will take him down.

Garry has offered to send him large shipments of KFC. Nothing like really greasy fried chicken to clog those arteries.

We could start a GoFundMe campaign oh and keep Jamie Oliver away from him.

“On the boundary”??!? That’s horrifyingly hilarious. Most of us KNOW the guy’s cheese slid off his cracker long, long ago. I hope he doesn’t have a full-on psychotic break IF he truly is on the edge.

I’m not sure we would notice any difference. For all we know, he has had and is past complete mental breakdown. Who can tell the difference?
I have to say I love your expression “His cheese fell off his cracker long ago.” It’s hilarious. A bit of hilarity in a very unfunny time.

Poor dude who should not be in this situation at all–I can be crazy myself, and fortunately know enough not to run for office, or to try to drive a bus, or other things that can harm many. My husband mentioned to me that old Pat Paulsen skit from Laugh-In, about ‘If nominated I will not run; if elected I will not serve’. Smart dude, Pat–

I said at the beginning that Trump was always an ass, but he used to speak in sentences. I thought then and think now that he is well into dementia — not to mention who knows how many other mental issues.

I also think that medications play no small part in his charm–

Propecia to make his orange hair grow? Or amphetamines to help with his brainlessness? I can only imagine!

Probably things to control mood, perhaps to control physical tics–who even knows? As a stage manager I would not want to have to be responsible for him and his functionality.

He can’t own people, even spouses or children. Slavery is not legal anymore, in theory.

He’s just plain old MAD. Not in a good way. He hates. He does not love. I don’t know if he loves anyone.

Frankly? I think it’s been there all along–but he’s got himself so boxed in with loyal believers I don’t know how anyone could rout him out, unless they carried him out sideways on a gurney.

We can always root for the gurney. If ever I thought “God would take of us,” well … NOW I know what turned my mother towards atheism. SHE watched the holocaust.
