FOTD – March 23 –ORCHIDS
It’s very quiet here. It’s quiet everywhere except, I suppose in the hospitals. Because we have a guy as the president who cannot tell the truth and I think isn’t entirely sure what the truth IS, trying to find out what is happening is very hard. They make decisions, then the congress gets to brawling again. While they are busy politicking, the rest of us are wondering how we are going to pay the mortgage. All across this country, the unemployment rate is rising like crazy … and they are STILL arguing.

Lovely flowers! It’s sunny here but very cold. Though I’m allowed out once a day for exercise or to buy essentials.
I heard Mr Trump has sorted out a rescue plan now. Bet he wishes he hadn’t spent all that emergency fund on the Wall now.

I’d love to give Trump a heavy dose of hopelessness and despair he’s offered me in the last 3+ years – He’s the greater Virus in my opinion to fight now.

I keep sending responses and they aren’t getting through. So, again … Thank you, Cee. We are doing okay, though each day gets a little bit harder. I’m waiting for things to get a little easier. I hope you two are doing well and coping with all the strange stuff going around!

What amazes me is that he and Pence got their results so quickly. Some people waited and waited to get theirs, but one day we hear they’re getting tested and the next day, they’re negative. I don’t believe any of it.

Unfortunately, a lot of people DO believe. I think it’s because everyone badly needs answers, one of those times when we need a real president and we have this fake guy instead. It seems that each day is a little harder than the one before it. Trying to stay upbeat, but not always doing as well as I would like. And what’s with the SNOW today?

It’s amazing how much peace a few plants and flowers, plus a few hundred birds outside can create in our worried hearts.

It helps. Maybe because they, at least, aren’t worried about the news or whether or not we are going to get emergency resources for our hospitals.

Pffft. When has that ever been true? Not since Truman have we had a President who was a regular guy. Now we have the king of golden potties. And it’s freaking SNOWING. We haven’t had snow since the beginning of December!

I am terminally depressed tonight and don’t seem to be able to find anything to do to pull me out of it. So many really sickeningly messed up people still supporting Trump. The end of the world could come about by his actions and they would still loyally support him. I had a man who as a boy used to torment me. He sat behind me in school and would cut off locks of my hair with his pocket knife or dip my hair in the ink well, suddenly appear out of nowhere and start threatening me again on Facebook. Told me to stay in Mexico, etc..Just crazy. I haven’t even seen this bully in over 50 years. Can you imagine?
