They will be hanging around (literally — in their hanging pots on the deck) for a few more weeks, but they are nearly done for the year. The fuchsia are in their final flowering. I took pictures.
Today was a beautiful day. Tomorrow it will rain and soon the flowers will fall and be gone for another year. But today — it was beautiful.

Nice shots with your macro. We are now starting to see signs of spring – everything will be very colourful soon.

Spring flowers are always the best. Nature waking up is at her most colorful. Enjoy!! We are, of course, heading in the other direction …. but we get autumn first. And that’s the best season of all.

You had them a long time, and now it is time to say goodbye, but at least you preserved their memory in the wonderful photos.

A good day for the flower indeed. Perfect snap for the theme. Very befitting.

It worked out nicely. I took the pictures right before we went away on vacation, but I processed them too. So I was ready to use them when the first opportunity came up. The fuchsia are alive still, but very few flowers anymore. If we have a warmer climate, I might nurse them through the winter, but here, it’s hopeless. So next years, there will be new ones.

With a little luck, I’ll have new ones in the spring. I am always sad when they go and they were especially lovely this year, weren’t they?
