  3. The thing about the old angled log fence is it harkens to a gentler time.

    • Life has been brutal. I don’t mean my personal life (fine) … but The World has been horrible. And I’m having a lot of trouble dealing with another mass shooting, kidnapped and caged children and a thousand small, frustrating aggravations which normally wouldn’t bother me, but then there is the world. A whole different game. I can’t seem to find a way around it. Not funny. Can’t let it go. Whether I watch the news or not, it’s out there and it’s ugly. So yeah, definitely off my game.

      • That was a bad joke re/ your diagonal post. We are all feeling off-kilter, actually. I think you need to turn off the news for a few days and just enjoy yourself. I will if you will. Still gonna demonstrate on Saturday, though.. xo

        • I might consider demonstrating, but this Saturday will be the first day this week that I can leave the house due to the steady flow of workmen I’ve had this week. The bathrooms are almost done, and I should be able to put things back together by the weekend and catch up with everything I haven’t done for a week!

        • It doesn’t seem to matter whether I intentionally watch it or not. Someone will send an email with the news. Remember, all of Garry’s old friends are old newsies. We cannot escape and trust me, we really TRY to escape.
