FOTD – June 6 – BOUQUET
Roses don’t last, no matter how hard you try to coddle them. They have two days of perfection, one day of softening and the next day, the petals are all on the table. Today was the soft day, the last day for taking pictures.
Yesterday’s crispness is gone, so today we are watercolored flowers, soft and scented.
And does anyone know what kind of flower this is? I came in a mixed pot of flowers and it just decided to bloom. It never bloomed before. no idea what it is, but it’s really pretty.

The texture on those last flowers is so neat. The filter makes them look like they are glass.

Thank you. I only wish I remembered exactly what I did to get them to look that way!

I do that all the time. I love playing with filters.

Your bouquet is still lovely Marilyn. I have one of those other plants with a red something or other appearing on it. I think it must be the flower of the philodendron. It’s a guess – I think those leaves are of the philodendron.

I just liked the color mix. Thought they would brighten things up. Sorry they have such short lives.

I’ve had many philodendrons, but this will be the first to actually flower. I didn’t know they COULD flower. But I think you are right. Very pretty and there are a few more buds forming. I wonder what I did right?
