    • It was very pretty. I still have no idea what one would call those pink flowers. I see them along all the waterways, but no idea what they are called.

        • No it’s no one’s garden. Or it’s everyone’s garden. In this case, the same thing. It IS wild. It’s the bank of Alrich Creek which runs along our road

            • We try to make our gardens look natural. This IS a natural garden and beautiful indeed. I still wish I knew the name of those pink wildflowers.

                • It’s literally a little place just down the road from us, just across the Rhode Island border. There are dozens and dozens of spots like this, including right in the middle of tow. Your comments made me think how we’ve come to take for granted that we live in an area that has so much accessible natural beauty. For many years, we lived in suburbs or cities where nothing like this could be found anywhere nearby. Now, it’s everywhere and sometimes, I forget that most people don’t have little beauty spots just everywhere. It is the best part of living here. A gift.
