FROM ANOTHER ANGLE

75-Little-Path

It was a gorgeous day. Warm, but not hot. Finally, everything is blooming. The trees are in leaf except for oak — they are in bud, but any day now.

It was busy by the canal. Families fishing. Runners using the old horse paths. Couples strolling. And, of course, Marilyn and I taking pictures. We fit right in.

Because we’ve shot this so many times, I tried to find some new angles. I think I did pretty well. Of course, it’s such a beautiful spot … hard to go far wrong.

  1. First of all, YAY! Garry for posting. You should do this more often! You got some great shots, it appears. My favorite is probably the last one. I don’t remember seeing the water from that view, yet.

  2. Oh YES!! I love bobmielke’s idea. With Marilyn on the bank snapping pics of you as you float under! Awaiting new set of photos now… 😀

By the way, is the water really that lovely shade of blue?

    • I definitely think YOU should try it and we will follow your most excellent example. If it gets away from you, we’ll catch you in Rhode Island when your raft, if still in one piece, finally lands in the wetlands.

      • Plan B: Gary on the raft taking pictures, you on the bank taking pictures of Gary taking pictures, me holding a rope attached to the raft so he doesn’t float to Rhode Island. I will provide the raft.

  3. Picture this Garry, you’re on your back on one of those cheap backyard air mattresses you buy for pools. You point your camera up as you go under that bridge and waterfall. Now doesn’t that sound exciting? LOL
