Love the biplane! Very stylish, and the black and white makes it look even more evocative. The skies are so dramatic in monochrome. And, as always, the birds are lovely to see. 🙂

Are the big birds herons? We never get anything like that here. Certainly a feast for the camera

Yes. Those are the Great Blue Herons. We also have green herons and egrets and in other parts of the world — out west, for example — they have Grey Herons and in Africa, they have Black Herons (I think … might have the color wrong) and I know they have other ones in Asia. But you have storks, so that beats herons 😀
