This has been an awful week and it’s only Monday. Is it evil 😈 to feel like taking down the bastards who are messing with my life? I don’t want to kill them. I just want to cause them serious pain. Puleeze?

What would be the most surprising scientific discovery imaginable?
That humans are capable of doing the right thing. Because as a species, I haven’t seen much evidence that we know what the right thing is — or that most people care.
If aliens landed on earth tomorrow and offered to take you home with them, would you go?
It depends. Do we look like chicken to them? If not, anywhere else seems like a good choice right now.
What breed of dog would you be? If you’re more a cat person – what breed of cat?
I think I’d like to be a PBGV. Petit Basset Griffon Vendéen if you like long dog names. Great hounds. Smart. Funny. Lovable. Great, fun dogs and they sing.
Bubble gum? Yay or nay?
Not really. Actually, I never liked it. Not enough taste and too blubbery. But I really loved watching other people make bubbles.

Thank you Marilyn for Sharing Your World. Amazing photos of the PBGV! What a cutie! I’ve heard of Griffons – in fact one won at Westminster one year that I watched and it was the most darling little dog…but then I’m sort of dog-centric.
Heheh Um. Excellent answers to all the questions and I’m sorry the week thus far has been trying. You have four days for things to turn around and be at least tolerable though. And YAY on procuring a better insurance for yourself and Garry….most policies that are tied to a state are fairly poor. I hope things are going to ease up since you went back to BC. This one is tied not to the state, but to a hospital — which is tied to the state, now that I think about it. They have great doctors and we won’t change any doctors. But their formulary is ugly. Also, it’s absurd. Making BP meds super expensive when your entire clientele are seniors? Really? I actually just heard from one and she said “well, it’s not on our formulary.”
I said, “So FIX the formulary.”
And she said, “We can’t do that.”
And I said, “Of course you can. You set it up. Go back and fix it and make it right. This is one of those things that’s wrong with our country. Everyone seems to thing nothing is their responsibility. You made the formulary. Redo it. Use MEDICAL people, not accountants.”
No one is ever responsible for anything anymore. My favorite? “The computer says…”
Computers only say what people TELL them to say. They act like the computer is The Oracle! Or maybe God. I’m just unbelievably glad to get out of that mess and back to something I can live with. These people are making me crazy. Now I guess I can go back to my normal level of insanity.
PBGVs are wonderful, fun dogs. They are smart and they have a sense of humor. I miss them!
