Mostly, our garden is made up of flowers able to survive our winters. Other winners include columbine, the daffodils, and tulipsr. And of course, our hardy hedge roses and a million day lilies. Most of the rest of our flowering stuff are wildflowers we’ve coaxed into our garden. I love them as much as the more cultivated ones … and they are true survivors.
And ever since I got my macro lens, although it doesn’t really make shooting easier, it means you can almost get inside the flower. Very cool, but tricky.
Your florals are so beautiful Marilyn. Thanks for playing. 😀

Lovely flowers, Marilyn. I like the Asian Liiy. They have a powerful, exotic scent. Roses are also very high on my list of favourites.

I need to get outside and take some pictures. Between yesterday and today, EVERYTHING bloomed!

Beautiful. I often take photos of solo flowers, you get so much more details out of them.
