Time is really whizzing along these weeks. Whoosh and another week is gone. Slow down, please. I can’t keep up with everything.

I don’t like most hard candy. It sticks to my teeth.
What sign are you? Do you believe in astrology?
I’m a Pisces. Don’t judge.
Do I believe in astrology? Yes and no. I have learned much from astrology, but I do not believe it really offers us a “path” to life. All it does it suggest options, likelihood, possibilities.
Much will happen whether we choose it or not and the rest will probably happen too, but maybe we have some way to “push” the process one way or the other. Not change it, exactly … just move it to a different rail … with the ultimate destination always the same.
What did you appreciate or what made you smile this past week?
Garry was a very good speaker at Charlie Austin’s Memorial Service. I was proud of him. He is usually a very good extemporaneous speaking anyway, but he was very much on target this time.
It was a special time and he was a special speaker.

Urg on the mayo (well any sauce really), but we’re fishies swimming ’round in the same astrological pool…. And I fully agree with your thoughts. Anyone who lives their lives sole based on what their horoscope or chart tells them probably has a very chaotic and disappointing time of it…

Horoscopes, at their best, are overviews of what will be and what we think they mean is often very much NOT what they mean. Usually, you figure out what they intended years later when you look back and say “OH, it was THAT!”

Ketchup has never done it for me, but mayo — the real stuff — somehow makes the sandwich not too dry, but not too sweet. Sometimes, I also add just a hint of horse radish — when I’m feeling terribly brave 🙂

I like the picture with my eye in the middle of the horoscope. It’s one of those pictures where I overlaid one picture over another and it came out kind of cool. I don’t know what I believe. Something. But I’m skeptical of everything.

That process of putting one pictures over another works really well when it works at all, but you need to have two pictures that just somehow slide neatly together. I’m sure there are photographers who are really good at it. I get lucky sometimes, but in between, I forget how I did it and have to remember the entire process again 😀

I use that photo for my gravatar. I also use it as my facebook header. I just like the picture. And if someone can actually read a horoscope, they can find out all kinds of stuff about me 🙂
