I wandered around taking the pictures. It was a reasonably bright morning and I used my fast Olympus lens which will almost shoot in the dark. I have a Leica version which is even faster but distorts more, If I don’t mind the distortion, the Leica 50 mm really WILL shoot in near dark.
My problem with the plunger is that by the time it finishes brewing, it’s kind of cold. I have a small plunger too, just in case it’s just me and there’s no point in making a whole pot, but it’s always a bit cool for my mouth.
I had bad luck with drip filter machines. They only seemed to have limited life and often leaked. Naomi does not like coffee so it is just me to drink it. It does get cool quickly though. After the first cup I usually have to nuke it in the microwave.
We had bad luck until we went back and bought the cheapest Mr. Coffee we could get. We’ve had it for at least 8 years and although it is getting a little crusty, it makes great coffee. We had a lot of trouble with other machines, though.
It’s a pretty boring pot so I’m always trying a different position to see if I can make it more interesting. We’ve been using this or a nearly identical one for … I don’t even remember how long. Years. Many years.
Can never start without a coffee!

Even when I really shouldn’t have it, I need it. It’s my morning wakeup juice.

If I want to splurge, I get Fiji water. It is so good. 😀 😀 Wonderful photos for this week. 😀

I wondered what kind of coffee percolator you preferred. I have had a few of those drip filter ones but now prefer the plunger.
