Actually, that IS what the picture was about and what I was trying to work with when I took it. I loved the way the power lines define the picture by areas. This pictures was — is — intentionally about lines. In New England, photographers often complain that the power lines are forever ruining their shots of classic churches. I’ve always used the lines as part of the picture, so althought they are literally power lines, they are also lines that form a pattern that change the picture … not subtly, either.
