COMFORT LATE AND BED – Marilyn Armstrong

FOWC with Fandango — Comfortable

It is late. I am in bed. My mattress is new, but the bed is not. It is nearly 20 years old but if it is not the most comfortable bed in the world, it’s pretty close.

The room is air-conditioned. Lightly air-conditioned. I’ve always been averse to heat but lately, I’m cold. The breeze from the fan means I put on long sleeves.

I’ve taken my sleepy medications and my eyes are closing. It doesn’t get better than this.

  Yes, indeed. Coffee and writing grocery store lists. Wednesday, we have money again, so we can SHOP although we are actually doing okay. Better than usual.

Sweet dreams indeed! I have ac in the kitchen which cools the main house but a fan kitty corner to the bedroom door to cool the bedroom down. As soon as it’s cool enough, I open my bedroom window and I get a nice breeze. It works. Glad your bed is comfy, that’s important.

  I was waiting for it to get to the “full comfort” point. It takes three or four weeks for the full comfort of a new mattress to kick in, but it has hit that point. So for the next few years, ahh. We shall sleep 😀

  Better than usual. The new mattress is beginning to make a serious difference. Finally! And I listen to audio books about time travel which really beats out the news at bedtime! Your prompt popped up just as I was turning off the computer, so I thought “Well, if THIS isn’t comfortable, I’ll never know what is!” And there you go 😀
