Cee’s Black & White Photo Challenge: Glass
Lots of glass. In fact, when I really looked closely, almost every picture had glass either as part of a picture or as the primary focal point for a shot.
I’m trying to use newer pictures, so all of these are from August or at the earliest, July. It was astonishing how many pictures include glass in the picture, from little bits to great sheets of it.
Glass. It’s how come your house isn’t dark all the time!

I thought about taking photos of one of my lenses. I’m glad you did. 😀

When I think “glass” I instantly think, “I wonder if the 75-300 has dropped in price? Maybe there’s a good used one?” I always tell people that their pictures will never be better than the glass through which they were taken. I could take pictures of my cameras and lenses all day and never get bored … and since they are basically black & white anyway …

I think half the time we don’t even notice it.

No. We look right through it. 🙂

We are surrounded by glass, one of the articles that has remained. Your diner lounge is a good example

When I was a kid, glass brick was a very popular material for building. Now, you only see it rarely, so I thought it was interesting to see the diner entry built from it. It’s actually a good material — keeps out the sun, but lets in the light. nice for porches … and greenhouses 😀
