IT’S ALL HAPPENING ON THE FEEDER
I have to tell you, it wasn’t easy finding six of anything on the feeder. A lot of flocks of five, but this was the only one with six. You have to count the tail of one because you can only see five!

We’re going to try and get outside a bit today. It ISN’T raining and the color is up. This may be our last autumn day for shooting.
This morning we had a bunch of Blue Jays at the feeder. That’s a first. But where are the doves? Maybe it’s because I took down the flat feeder (they are a bit big for the wire feeders).

It was good to see them. They don’t show up at the feeder very often. I put all my messages on notify and now i can’t find ANYTHING. I am looking for your links and I totally can’t find them.

It’s funny when the birds are at the back of the feeder. You can see a bit of wing or tail or even a beak, but the rest of the bird is hiding. Also, you can often tell by the swinging of the feeder that something large is hanging on to the other side. I guess they figure if I can’t see them, I don’t count. Funny that they totally ignore the barking dogs, though.
