    Pretty. I keep meaning to get some cacti in the hopes they’ll pretty much look after themselves. Like cats.

      If you have the right kind of light — east or west with a tilt toward north works best. They need light, but not much bright sun. A little bright sun is fine, but a lot will make them grow like mad, but not bloom. I didn’t have a choice about light. Northeast facing is the only window with room for plants.

      Then, DON’T water them until they are completely dry (they don’t need it and too much water will kill them) and don’t give them fertilizer (not necessary) and don’t re-pot them until are totally root-bound.

      Yeah. Like cats. But without tuna.
