Cee’s Black & White Photo Challenge:
Cameras, photographers or equipment
I love taking pictures of people taking pictures and I also love taking pictures of my cameras. I still have the same cameras I’ve had for years except for a recently acquired Pen F. I don’t expect to buy any more cameras, though there are lenses for which I still yearn.
Camera-wise, I’m pretty wrapped up everything I want.

Not sure I could pick a favourite out of these. I love them all. |O|MD I like that one to be sure. And I love the one of Garry. And the one of you, so intent, so intense.

They are good ones and I hope they last forever because they are as good as I’ll ever get. It has taken me decades to get them collected.

The three Olympus cameras are great. Especially the one you can’t see because I used it to take the pictures, the Pen F.

Olympus is in the process of selling off its camera division to put its resources into medical equipment, but the new company is keeping the cameras and the people and hopefully will make them even better, though they are really great anyway. I’ve been using Olympus cameras since the 1960s!

I hadn’t heard that. I had an Olympus 35mm when I was younger but it got stolen when I was in the Marine Corps. I had a barely used Minolta after that but the motor went out. Next I went to a Nikon 35mm. Something went wrong with it, put it in the shop, they went out of business after 80 years and I never got my camera back. I’ve been digital ever since. 2006 was my first digital.

Those TV cameras are something.

Insanely expensive. Just a lens can cost easily more than $20,000 and a lot more than that.
