I think it’s some version of “true” pink. Mauve would have more violet in it, but it is a wonderful, rich color 🙂

It’s the only color of pink I have always loved. Real pink. Not mauve, not violet. And it is one of the few non-primary colors that looks good on me. I used to own a lot of suits and blouses in that color, so it’s nice to grow it in the garden.

I have seen these in purple and also in white. I know they have cross bred and there are other colors, but I haven’t seen them.

Mine are ALL pink even the ones that are now growing on the other side of the driveway.
